10k Lake Festival?
 

What do you guys know about this festival that is held in Minnesota in July. A friend asked me to go to it this summer, but I don't know. The website didn't really make me want to be there, and the line up looks a little dodgy. Have any of you ever attended this?

I wouldn't drive from Nebraska to see a lot of jam bands and hippies.
Hell, I live in Minnesota and I have always steered clear.

I pretty much figured it was a hippie fest....from the pictures. Plus $120 bucks..meh. I don't know, I guess it could be fun though. How hot/humid does it get up there in July? How far out of Minneapolis is it? I could always ditch the concert and stay in Minneapolis.

July is an awful, humid, mosquito-riddled Hell here. Seriously, I hate July. WORST camping month of the year!

Detroit Lakes is 164 miles from Mpls.

Is West Nile a problem up there too?

Never heard of that festival. I saw a jam band once and I almost went crazy, I couldn't imagine a weekend full of 'em. Goin' to WE Fest this year Savage Clone? See ya there.
