Locust Abortion Technician
Who else loves this album
![]() |
as i said only a couple of hours ago on another thread... this is a masterpiece from an otherwise flawed band
|
Graveyard still slays.
You gotta love Kuntz and 22 going on 23 was cool in the day. Their Widowermaker ep from the same time period is very good. Psychic, Powerless, Another Man's Sac is good too and often a favorite with BS fans. |
haha, when I first read the thread I was thinking about abortionists for locusts. Do you have that one eric?
|
me i took it out from the library and loved it
|
One of the greatest albums ever. Kuntz is the best song to have on full blast with the windows down when you're driving through town. Human Cannonball has to be my favorite though.
|
Fabulous record. Probably my favourite Butthole Surfers record. I'm going to be playing some records tonight in public, in a bar, for the first time tonight and I might play Kuntz and see if I get any funny looks.

great great great stuff, they should teach that on public school
|
I Love This Album!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111
|
it's a very creepy album I find. I was listening to it while driving at night. Imagine hearing Hey and USSA in this situation.
But my favourite song on the thing is From Pittsburgh to Lebanon. |
i like Rembrandt Pussyhorse better.

One of the greatest bands ever. Hairway to Steven is my fave but Locust and Rembrandt Pussyhorse are close behind. 22 going on 23 is my favorite from Locust. I listened to it the week before my birthday this summer just cause I had to

I had the pleasure of seeing them live one of their last times. The show was pretty much exactly how like I'd heard it was back in the day, two drummers, crazy backwards upsidedown surgery films, strobe lights, gibby with a bullhorn and lighting stuff on fire and throwing feathers. It was unlike anything I've ever seen, even gives the Flaming Lips show a serious run for their money. It was fucking amazing. They even played all old material with the exception of maybe 3 songs.
The only thing I hear that was different back in the day was that they had a nude woman dancing between the two drummers. |

I didn't have one really but if I'd bothered to I was going to have DJ I Destroy Santa. That's what my name was the one time I sort of DJed before. I like Ponce on the Heath though... |
