I'm doing a 10 day water fast, started today... one day almost gone, about to sleep. Getting hungry though.

Anyone else done one of these?

I wouldn't do that Golden child. You can food fast for quite a while, 40-50 days before it starts to cause problems, but water fasting can be deadly within days. Watch out with that.

So is it only drinking water? Or just no water?
It would be hard to avoid water altogether since its found in so many things.
Either way, its a stupid idea. Really bad for your health and body.

I'm going to have a big fry-up for my tea tonight. Veggie sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash browns, fried egg, toast, halloumi... All washed down with a pint or two of the black stuff. Mmmmmm

I'd use it for the latter.

Its a bad way to shed pounds, as it will fuck up your metabolism. You will use up the stored body fat, but then when you start eating again everything will go to fat, or something like that. Im sure any respectable doctor would advise against lengthy fasts of any kind.

ive only been drinking tap water though, and i just read that doing that is useless... so im going to get a burrito and cup of motherfuckin coffee!

ill see if i can find some water purifier or something, since it needs to be distilled. i was drinking a gallon a day, and i am NOT going to the store to buy 10 gallons of water.
