It has calmed down, I think, to the extent that there are fewer "post once and run away" type people. But that's not necessarily a good thing, as there's now a lot of in-fighting between established posters as there are no "noobs" to pick on.

it has quitened down but the thing i like about this board is Sonic Youth could bring out a billion more albums and people will come and go on the board here but at the end of the day its still all the fuckin mad heads that stick around, they regulars and all their irregular comments and statements make it worth stickin around for.

That's your theory. I just think people should be told when they are being crass. Sometimes that involves holding a mirror up to them and being crass right back. It's unacceptable to be willfully ignorant as well.
