Now we're talking! Nice links pork.
I'm a big fan of the Cinema of Transgression.
Some of those VU vid's are a must have too.

Tokolosh 09.19.2006 07:34 AM

I'm still looking for the DVD of all Andy's short films and kiss, blowjob, empire, etc. There's an Italian label that has officially released them, but I can't find it.

Tokolosh: Very expensive, but, as a starting point: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Andy-Warhol-...?ie=UTF8&s=dvd

If i'm not wrong that was released by a french label and it was also a limited edition.Last year we've had Empire shown on The Fourth Wall at work as well as 'Blue' by Derek Jarman as few years ago.I have a few of the Velvet Underground DVD's and my favourite has to be 'A Simphony of Sound' because the performance is amazing.

Bump!

Screen Edge has a good selection of videos including:

DESTROY ALL RATIONAL THOUGHT - William Burroughs and Brion Gysin - DVD Video

The FINAL ACADEMY DOCUMENTS - William Burroughs - DVD Video

I've only seen this one.
THEE FILMS - William Burroughs - VHS Video
This unique collection comprises all the films made during the lengthy period of collaboration between William Burroughs, Brion Gysin, and the radical British film-maker Anthony Balch. In addition to the finished works the video includes a 50 minute film called 'Ghosts at No. 9' which uses cut-ups of film and superimpositions, material from the extensive archive of Psychick TV.

Director. Anthony Balch.
Featuring William S. Burroughs, Brion Gysin, Ian Somerville, Antony Balch. BW & Colour.

I've seen some of it at the Barbican once. Highly reccomended. Highly. From His Holy Highness Of Highly Highly.

Tokolosh 04.09.2007 08:05 AM

You can find them here for £12.99 each kroP. Quite cheap.

MellySingsDoom 04.09.2007 08:40 AM

I've got the Burroughs material, from when it was a video put out by the Psychic TV mob. Very good stuff. I'd watch it again now, but one of the boardies currently has it.

sarramkrop 04.09.2007 08:56 AM

I have the cut-up movies burned by a friend somewhere.Seriously good stuff, if you're into that sort of thing.
