T. Moore on Harvey Birdman
I was watchin' some late night tele this weekend and I spotted a HILARIOUS appearance of Thurston on the Harvey Birdman show..he was going by some funny sounding alias and wearing monstrous shades..it's worth a chuckle if you can find the episode

i'm pretty sure he was also on space ghost once.

I think he was on space ghost.

They had Pavement on Space Ghost too. There's a clip of it on the site.

Thurston's on Space Ghost as 'Fred Cracklin' in the episode 'Sharrock' - if you get Vol. 2 of the Space Ghost DVDs, the episode is on there, and there's bonus footage of Thurston playing a Sonny Sharrock tribute tune on the guitar with a drummer (it's pretty darn cool, too)
Sharrock, the great noise/jazz/rock/etc. guitar player, did the theme song for the show, and when he died, the writers made this episode to honor him - they purposely have little to no plot/dialogue in it to feature Sharrock's music throughout - Thurston only appears for like a minute in the actual episode wearing funny glasses, but the tribute video in the extra features of the DVD is over 8 minutes of live playing |
Sweet Ass! I was hoping by dropping this on here I might get some more info on it. I knew it was a Hanna Barabra cartoon I justw asn't sure what one. Thanks to everyone who posted, HEAVY thanks to radioclash that's a wealth of info :)

Thurston was never on Harvey Birdman. It was Space Ghost Coast to Coast. Funny episode though. The one with Thom Yorke was funnier.

haha no problem, mooger - dvd commentaries can be interesting sometimes :)
