why do my nostrils/snot smell like swimming pools?

this has been happening over the past few months... on random days, but usually in the afternoons... am i menstruating? is it a subtle change in my diet that has brought this on? i am sick of smelling swimming pools on some dayz.

The first thing a doctor would ask (I'm not officially a doctor) is: have you been swimming?

i did actually swim at a pool for the first time this year, on last saturday.

but like i said, this has been happening since january now.

was my subconscious/brain building up a tolerance ahead of time?
