that presupposes the validity of democracy and the legitimacy of any of these political parties and their trickster politicians, which I would say is a much more dangerous and childish attitude, and at the least exposes your naivete.

Politics are perpetually a farce. Its not real. They are all scumbags. When you give into the speeches and political rhetoric, they win. When you give up your own power to solve our own problems to them, you rob yourself of your own agency and ability. Free yourself.

I certainly agree with the intent here but I am not a libertarian because I think there are certain functions that must be performed as a community, which in our society means government. It is not appropriate for individuals to treat their own sewage. Or engage in road building.
