Roots was the best thing ever for the 10 year old me in 1996.

ARISE was best for me some years earlier

I love the Arise and Beneath the Remains albums. I loved Roots at the time but can only really listen to a couple of tracks off it now. Still one of the best live bands (in their original formation) that I've ever seen. 'Slaves of Pain', FTW

Oh i was kind of joking but i do think they inspired them to use the native instruments etc. Nacao zumbi is really amazing, in my opinion a million times better than sepultura.

Chaos AD was best for me many years ago

Sepultura were pretty average... but man, Soulfly was one of the worst bands ever.

Yeah, Soulfly are hilarious. Sepultura are just as worse nowadays though.
