Just doing a few minor finishing touches on the thing. Started work on the thing six years ago, I'm excited to be finally finished with the thing.''

NYC: Opening up the show at Death By Audio tonight with a solo set consisting of half new songs from the upcoming album and other yet to be released releases. Also playing is Milwaukee, WI's Bored Straight who play hardcore the old fashion way. Crazy Spirit who are one of the better NYC bands of the moment and also play a twisted bran...d of hardcore that owes much to good early bands like Germs, Rudimentary Peni and such, but with an attitude all their own that puts them firmly in this time and place. Philly's Hot Guts are also playing, and they're pretty great. Dark, fuzzy and heavy rock/punk that defies traditional catagorization without coloring far outside the lines. Upstate NY's The Enthusiasts are youngsters playing garage rock. They did not want to open the show, but they do want to drink even though they're not yet old enough to.

Anyway, I will go on no later than 9:30 so if you wanna see me, come quick. Think I may soon end up all live Pink Reason performances in NYC and possibly the US since my inability to put together and keep a good live band has made it impossible to do what I want to do with our live shows. No money in this business, so I feel like it's better to pack it in than make a fool of myself.

If this thing is about half as good as Cleaning the Mirror I will be ecstatic.

Barring any unforseen circumstances Pink Reason's sophmore LP "Shit In The Garden" will be available via Siltbreeze in February 2011. Recorded over six years in various locations throughout Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio and New York in collaboration Shaun Failure, Dave Razor (http://www.myspace.com/daverazormusic), Tim Gick... (TV Ghost), Dead Luke and Michael Bray (Modra) with technical assistance provided by Andrew Kavanaugh (Goodnight Loving), Casey Buhr (Hue Blanc's Joyless Ones) and Matt Whitehurst (Psychedelic Horseshit). We are all very excited about the release of this album and hope it's sounds provide all of you out there with as much pleasure as it has provided us.

Also coming out in the near future will be the first Pink Reason record (7") recorded with a full band lineup in a "real" studio.

Nah, I don't know anyone with any money, or anyone who cares enough about me to get me a gift. My girlfriend cares but she didn't have any money, so I told her not to worry about it. I'm not a materialistic person, though, and wasn't really complaining, I was saying that kinda in jest... "Since I have nothing else to look forward to for xmas, at least I will have THIS!" You know?

They, well... he did record it in a studio?
