Dusted's top 10 of first half 10'
Pretty good list to be honest. Close to what mine would be.
http://www.dustedmagazine.com/features/912 |
ofyc is a good latter period fall album. but there is noway in hell its even close to the top 10 for 2010. fuck i would be dissapointed if i looked hard enough and afterwards even had it in the top 100.
i do like the opn album but i don't think i'd have it in my top 10. sightings are good but haven't heard the one mentioned. |
Will have to get that Omar Khorshid album. While I like a few of those groups, most of the albums I've heard on that list don't strike me as being particularly memorable. Must be a weak-ish year for music in their offices.

i d/led that 5gb robe torrent, it took a longass time with 1/0 seeders. then got stuck at 97.5% and i finally realised it was broken and there is a fixed one im now at 87% on.
i think maybe i will try to get in everybodys top 10 this year by releasing a concept prog noise album called "WELCOME TO MODERNITY, 1 MILLION DEAD AFGHANS!" which is about a failed 00's indie rockstar who dies due to crack addiction, and goes to hell, where satan promises to undo his death and make him rich and famous and have his album go to no.1 if he successfully takes on the job of explaining to the over a million dead Afghan civlians about modernity, the western way of life, and what their deaths accomplished. |
Ariel Pink is my absoute number one.
