doesn't seem like we have ever had a thread about them. wtf
fuckin great band. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFUQIliENUM post punky grunge but totally in the rare noise spectrum of grunge not the logger rock side of it. edit- their discog is not torrentable but most of there stuff is mediafireable |
Been into them for as long as I can remember. Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride is one of my all time favorite songs.
|
saw them do an "all request" set in the basement of the Lucky 7 house in Oly back in the day. awesome band with great crunchy taste. Unlistenable was a really cool swan song too.
|
I was was big into this stuff six or seven years ago, when I started finding out all those noiserock bands.
I have tulip and some other EP. Tulip's pretty good, still. |
All of this band's 80s/90s records pale in comparison to their live sound. They were victims of the prevailing studio sound of the time. Truly an outstanding live band, though!
Incredible timing for this thread......Their unreleased 1996 major label album has very recently been retitled Unlistenable (that was why the label shelved it) and is now available on vinyl LP from Permanent Records in Chicago. It's certainly the best-sounding of their available recordings. http://www.permanentrecordschicago.c...l.php#perm-015 |
THanks dj!
