I have no idea. I keep on hearing about them everywhere but haven't given them a listen yet. I don't have a precise idea of their music though. I thought I had read somewhere they were kind of metal, then I read they were kind of post-punk ala Joy Division. Eh.

XX is the most sexy indie rippers band this month, and since that is half(I admit) my musiclife. Their OK, a small 6 for the album.

I will go back and listen to Get Color by Health.

I fixed, thanks for saying that to my slight muffy mind.

Their way more young marble gaints/mazzy star fanboys & girls even they sound allot weaker then both those awsome bands.

album is ok..no more no les..
i saw them live a few weeks back..i really wanted to cut my wrists and display them to the band to get them to stop or at least copy me ina self depreciating way..they were ungodly awful and boring and and and so awful its not even warranting me replying to this thread......oh shit i have..there you go..

so in conclusion..the xx......meh with a capital 3

album is kinda shitty imo...
Basic Space is a really nice track, but other songs like Infinity (which is a mix between Wicked Game, Orinoco Flow and Take Me on a Cruise, and no, it doesn't sound as exciting/genius as an actual mix between those could be) are kinda lame...

I agree with loubarret. There are much better young kids making music than this shit. See Crystal Castles, Health, Hello Astronaut, Goodby Television, etc.
