Royal Oak 6/29/09 Setlist REQUEST

Hey Im just wondering if anyone can post a set list for the show tonight.

Thanks

Rupert 'Stiles' Stilinski 06.30.2009 01:46 AM

Yeah, seriously.

I went to a SY show there once and all the people in the audience were busy making out and making fun of Wolf Eyes. Doubt there will be much of a response.

Royal Oak is a real yuppie shit-hole, in my opinion. It's like Naperville (near Chicago).

so they played all of "the eternal", minus thunderclap
plus:
pacific coast highway
catholic block
hey joni
world looks red

encore(s), in order:
the sprawl/'cross the breeze
walkin blue/silver rocket

pretty sure i didn't leave anything out. they opened w/ sacred trix of course. i thought massage the history sounded great live, which to be honest is something i was wary of. the acoustic parts surprisingly translated well on thurston's electric guitar.

SuperCreep 06.30.2009 09:42 AM

shit. I hope they keep PCH and Catholic Block on till Thursday, but I doubt it. Really looking forward to Massage the History too.

Thanks!

You'll be rewarded in heaven. Or elsewhere.

I only knew a couple of their songs, but I figured it would be cool to see them. So I went to the concert yesterday and they were amazing!

Rupert 'Stiles' Stilinski 06.30.2009 11:33 PM

Hey, that's my video! Yay.

chucky larms 07.01.2009 02:49 PM

do you have the exact order of the setlist? i know the songs from the eternal weren't in the same order as the cd, and with the others mixed in, i'm just wondering if you or someone else has the order of the songs. i have a terrible memory and if i don't write something down i can't remember it!

thanks so much!

the venue just posted pictures from the show, setlist included. here's the order:

no way
calming the snake
catholic block
mailbu gas station
poison arrow
anti-orgasm
hey joni
antenna
leaky lifeboat
pacific coast highway
what we know
massage the history
the world looks red

first encore:
the sprawl
cross the breeze

second encore:
walkin blue
silver rocket
