I caught the tail end of the show on my ride home from work. They played Walkin Blue and Plastic Sun, talked about how Patti Smith influenced them, then played her track Radio Ethiopia. Pretty good stuff, I'll try to catch the whole show tomorrow.

neptuneg 07.06.2009 09:53 PM

Plastic Sun?

EDIT: Oops, I thought this was live.

notyourfiend 07.07.2009 02:04 AM

I was fortunate enough to get to listen to the entire show. It certainly made my drive from NYC to DC less boring! For the most part the show just consisted of them playing their own songs. They added some Patti Smith and Television in there. I enjoyed hearing some of the stories behind songs such as Bull in the Heather, Sacred Trickster, Antenna and Incinerate.

896754 07.07.2009 10:04 AM

did anyone manage to record this? i'd really like to hear it

thunderbird 07.07.2009 08:14 PM

listening now...
hoping to hear some of the tracks THEY choose, rather than just sy tracks.

anyway, lee is speaking...
kim sounds really different, not so reclusive.
