Massive Attack's Blue Lines is pretty much one of the best albums ever
Why is music like this not made anymore? Shara Nelson has such a great voice and who doesn't love Horace Andy? Is it even possible to dislike Horace Andy?
|
Agreed. Well done, have a cookie.
|
I'm more of a "Protection" fan, though yes, this album is very good indeed.
|
mmm. Protection.
|
I'm more of a fan of the slower, chilled out songs on Blue Lines. Like the title track, Daydreaming and Five Man Army.
The whole thing is great though I like Protection more. |
I also like Protection more, honestly. The title track is amazing, though every song on it is pretty good. I am a bit obsessed with this band. The fifth album couldn't come soon enough.
|
Yes.
Summer, make another thread, then. |
It's a little bit dated for me to fully embrace, but it still has some ace cuts on it. I much prefer Mezzanine.
I have a gut feeling LP5 is going to be their best. |
Mezzanine is quite a different cup of coffee.
Dark and haunted. |
100th Window was good but not as good since only one member of the band was present on the album. That's why their next album will be better. Both current members of Massive Attack will be working on it. So surely this will be great. =o

I think I'm going to make a movie and have Angel in it. I'm just edgy like that.
