This One Goes Up To Eleven.
Rain On Tin.
How can anyone listen to that song and not do this?: ![]() |
I think you meant Kill Yr Idols
Only Sonic Youth song I have ever headbanged to is Chapel Hill
nice new avatar Fox!
Never liked this song.
In semirawks for the first little part. and then it slips into jamband riffage.
I think "Junkie's Promise" is SY's most straight forward rock song.
But it's less head banging and more sickly swaying back and forth. |
Good song. I've always liked it.

they have lots of straightforward rock songs on Dirty. Probably why I don't listen to that record.

Odd. When Beavis wears his "death rock" shirt, Butthead's shirt usually says "skull". This was done for when the two weren't on MTV (but were in comic book form or whatever). |
brother james always does it for me
Love the song. But I'm a fan of the "jamband riffage" style...
I love how it's like, get the fuckin words out of the way in the first minute, then go all all Spinal Tap riffage for 6min+. I love how it builds and sways.
Dood Rain on Tin is the fuckin' shit. I was jammin' to it when I took a deposit earlier today. I love SS's drums in this. There's this one part towards the end that gets me EVERY FUCKING TIME!
Not to mention the end where just thee guitars are playing is just beautiful.
