good hot chocolate
the hot chocolate they sell in stores is made with ingredients like high fructose corn syrup and plastic, do not want.
however it tastes really good, i want that taste but made with quality ingredients, does anyone know a brand like that or a DIY method, a vegan version or anything like that? i want to know ![]() the stuff jamaicans make by actually melting chocolate is good but i think it's hard to make and asking a jamaican lady to share a recipe is dangerous |
fraus is pretty damn awesome, but Im not sure it's all that good for you..
Otherwise just go for an organic cocoa steamed with milk/soy and vanilla beans? I alternate between the two.. the fraus I usually only get from the store near my house because they make it in a carousel and its THICK like dark chocolate cream. mmmm. But you can buy the sachets and steam it yourself, and its still quite nice, just not as thick. |
okay I looked it up and apparently they are only an australian brand :(
but its sooo yummy. http://www.fraus.com.au/the_fraus_ra...e_flavours.asp |
that stuff looks really thick and brilliant
![]() i'm probably going to spend the weekend in the kitchen screwing around with cocoa powder,i see fatness in my future :( |
cocoa doesn't make you fat! Sugar and uh, fat does. cocoa is meant to be good for you..
|
and cocoa is 20% fat even in unsweetened form, plus lots of calories. but there's good for you things in it too.
Is chocolate fattening? Yes, chocolate is fattening. Even dark chocolate contains a lot of calories because of the large content of fat and sugar. The sugar content in chocolate is worse than the fat content regarding negative effects on health. http://www.cacaoweb.net/nutrition.html |
