Argh. Updating event lisings and sites....pain in my...
 

So my buddy and I have a prodcution company. We have a few sites for it. We have gotten a little behind in our updating shows/events/adding contacts. I have been touching on it a little bit these past few days, but decided to try and tackle it head on. Jesus. We're more behind than I thought. PLus, I'm basically running it right now, while my partner gets ready for hsi second baby he is about to have and is busy doing a few last wrestling gigs before he retires from it.

I know. I'm bitching about pointless stuff. I just needed to have a little rant. Its fine and I enjoy it - parts of it are tedious at times.

Ah well. It will pay off here soon.


Anyway, how is everyone's Wedmesday? I'm sure things out there have GOT to be more exciting than what is going on with me.

I"m currently working at a job I am no getting paid for! :-D! Well not really workign...just helping out mostly. Still had to wake up early though...

Yeah, right now we don't get paid for this either. Although, if we set up gigs and stuff we do. But we are working on a sponsorship/investor right now. Also, we are planning a major festival for next year, so money will be made. It just takes time.

I wish I could get 11 hours. I'm having to sleep on the couch downstairs, as our ac upstairs is broke. Needless to say, people walk through there all hours of the early morning being loud.

what sort of production company is it?

We focus on the local entertainment scene in and around Montgomery. (For now, at least. We are planning on expanding out market once we have investment funds.)

We promote local bands/concerts, events at clubs, local MMA and wrestling/sports, cultural happenings, etc.

We are in the process of putting together a 2 disc compilation cd of local bands, past and present. We are just about finished mixing down the first disc and getting the second together.

We are planning a HUGE festival (well huge for the area) for next summer. We are going to showcase local bands, as well as some of our favorite bands that frequent here (per example, CAN CAN from ATL have expressed interest.). We are also in talks with Local H and Green Jelly to headline. We will also showcase wrestling and MMA, as well as tatoo artists, a freakshow, etc...

Does that give you an idea?
