I can't wait for this to come out, I love Flipper and have been dying to hear new material from them. The songs on their myspace sound great, novoselic hasnt sounded better on the bass, too bad he wont be touring with flipper.

Triple Mass sounds pretty good. Not liking the rest.

I think they should re-record Generic and make all the songs about robotripping. Hell, I'd buy a copy, even though I don't do that shit anymore. "Ever" = "Dexer". "Life is Cheap"? How about "Life is... a bottle of Robitussin"!! "I Saw You (in a Trip)". "Living for Dexing". "Dex Bomb". And so on.

But these new songs sound okay too!

oh cmon, another of my favorite bands fucking up thier legacy by reforming and making tunes 1/10 as special as they used to be.

These songs aren't AWFUL though.

And then they could re do it a third time with all the songs about having terminal liver disease "Ever" = "Hepa" "ha ha ha" = "ow ow ow" and "(i saw you) shine" could be "(i saw you puke) blood".

of all the bands to do reunions though, flipper seems like the band that is going against thier whole aesthetic to do so.

On Flipper's wiki entry,the band split in 1987,reformed in 1990,then split again in 1995,then reformed again in 2005,so they've always been a stop/start band, i don't see this so much as a reunion, another episode in their history. .
Not heard it yet.
