I think a better poll would be "top 5 worst romero films", there'd be tons of competition there. I'm going to personally vote for his half of two evil eyes. Or Diary of the Dead. Can't decide.

If you've not seen Jack's Wife, you really should. I'd be surprised if you didn't like it if you're a fan of Martin.

Generally though, yes. Romero lost the plot big time in the 90s and has never found it since.

I've never even HEARD OF "Jack's Wife".

Oh, right, I actually kinda enjoy parts of "Bruiser" but it falls apart.

I think that was it's UK title. In the US it was called Season of the Witch.

It's a strange film. Not really a horror film at all in many ways. Difficult to describe. A sort of feminist Devil Rides Out. Very odd. Definitely worth a watch.
