Yes. Never too keen though. Um... Domino, weren't they? I haven't found any Domino bands to have much shelf-life in my collection. That includes Pavement. His voice still gets on my wick.

That irritatingly indie thing with him is something that i'd love to see desappear in music alltogether.That kind of i'm playing the motherfucking geeky,lanky wimp sort of guy fucks me off big time and put me off many a Pavement records.And there aren't that many.

Mmm. I cast particular disdain upon the lyrics. I like obtuse/ oblique lyrics (I am, of course, a dyed in the wool Fall fan), but his always seemed particularly 'arch' and clever-clever.

Actually, that's a good example of the 'clever-clever' band names you were talking about - an American band called Pavement.
