Damned genocide and mass murder.

Shit is keeping me up at night. I didn't want to take this class, and I dont want to continue, but I have invested to much not to graduate this december.

It is a barrel of laughs I tell you, horrific, nightmarish, terrifyingly and exceedingly dreadful..

and I can make lemonade out of anything, but this is finally starting to get to me....

these kind of things only cause me to sink further down the path of disillusionment..

I remember hearing about some guy who couldn't sleep because he was afraid of nuclear annihilation. I thought it was ridiculous.

Now, between the economy and the election, I'm so depressed I can hardly function (well, I do have some personal issues too but...)

where as nuclear annihilation is a slim but tangible possibility, mass murder and genocide is unfortunately a reality of both the past and the present, and probably the future. it is a bit more disturbing, because it is real.

I swear sometimes the only thing that keeps me going is the dog that is currently sleeping with her head on my chest--makes it a little difficult to type but still very sweet.

I had to take a break from all this death and destruction for just a day....

I know how you feel. I have been studying German history from Wilhelm I up to the fall of the Hitler for about 4 years now, it is seriously depressing.
