And does anyone know who the "secret headliner" is?

do you think that that means that the name of the headliner is a five letter word, then a three letter word, and then a seven letter word?

blunderbuss 07.11.2008 08:58 AM

Quite likely, yes. Does anyone fancy a game of hangman?

My bets go for My Bloody Valentine.

mangajunky 07.11.2008 09:01 AM

Oh God yes - it should be entertaining as hell.

Is Lydia doing another spoken word performance?

batreleaser 07.11.2008 09:04 AM

why the hell not.

faust is one of my favorite bands ever. not so sure how great theyd be 30 years after their prime though.

"Lydia and Rowland"? Very probably not, but it's the only guess I can make.

I think the last time Lydia played in London, she said that Rowland isn't a well man these days.

Rowland's finally detoxed totally, according to his own MySpace site. I really hope so - it'd be a shame for such a charismatic and talented artist to be felled by his addiction.

Oh yeah, you should definitely go. I can't make it (due to other commitments), but it should be enjoyable stuff.

Saw Faust play live a couple of weeks ago, Absolutely amazing stuff, chainsaws and everything!
Go!

fugazifan 07.11.2008 12:24 PM

i saw faust a few months ago. half of it was good, but have of it was silly. the singer/bassist kind of annoyed me, his bass riffs were annoying.
but the noiseier stuff and most of the stuff from faust IV was great.
it might be cooler to see blurt or lydia, even though she bugs me as well

blunderbuss 07.12.2008 03:53 AM

It's taken me this long to notice that the show is from 8 pm to 5 am. I'm getting too old for staying up to see the sun rise, I'm gonna have to give this a miss. Which is a shame, as I was getting quite excited about the thought of seeing Faust.
