someone just added clips of sonic youth doing instrumental versions of songs that would later appear on a thousand leaves to youtube. strange that i found it first, considering i've been on youtube about four times total. anyway, i'd say it's very nice live footage of sonic youth in a studio setting. just go about 3/4 or more down this page once you've gone to this link:

I was watching these vids last night, & I have to tell you, I'm very impressed w/ these performances. You usually don't see a tv show allow SY to experiment on their setlist. A great performace all the way around.
