Hits Are For Squares - found in Chicago
Hi, folks -
Well, it took three tries, but I finally found a copy of Hits Are For Squares in Chicagoland. They had them at the Starbucks at North & Wells, built into Pipers Alley. I purchased one this afternoon and they had 6-7 copies left on display. The CD isn't in the spinner rack or the space on the counter Starbucks usually puts CDs, but in a counter box at the register. Hope that helps anyone who might be having trouble finding a copy. |

In NYC, my friend just told me his wife bought him a copy for half price at the Starbucks on 181st St & Ft Wash Ave.

hmm. weird. anyway, after all the pissing and moaning about this thing coming out, I must say I've spun it quite a few times. Not a bad sampler.

THERE somebody from here posted it a while ago |
I found it the Woodbury Commons Outlet Center in upstate New York a few weeks ago. Just like Chicago, it was in a small box by the register. I wish they would actually play it in the store!

I have two extra copies that I bought off of Ebay. I'll ship them to someone who can't get a copy. Offer a trade or 19.00 shipped worldwide. (which is what I paid!)

I live about half an hour out of New York City so I assumed I'd just buy it at a Starbucks there. But yesterday, I was in Pleasantville which is about twenty minutes north of ME. And they had HAFS up at the register and I freaked out, it was a little pathetic. Then later, when I was in the movie theater waiting for the movie to start I was looking at it and unwrapping it. And this girl next to me was like "Did you get that at Starbucks?" and I was like "YEAH." and she was like "Oh, I wanted to get that! Aren't they playing in Brooklyn next month?" and I was like "YEAH, AT MCCARREN." and she was like "Oh, I've never been there but I want to." and I was like "OH MY GOD, YOU SHOULD GO IT'S THE LAST-" and then the movie started. Good story, right?

Tell us more about the movie... |
Hi everyone, I was just looking the scans and I saw that the third scans, where the songs are listed and there's a brief comment from who chose it, in Shadow Of A Doubt says "The song is from their 1987 EVOL LP,..." Isn't EVOL from 1986?
