I don't get the scary part. It's hilarious, but...I've never had the guts to try acid, though. I've heard too many horror stories.

Breathing furniture and stuff coming out of the walls. The usual. I've also heard a lot of second-hand stories (about people I don't actually know) about screaming inanimate objects. I know it's dependant on your set-up, but I would freak.

well if you ever do it i don't reccommend looking in the mirror on your first go. but after a few times if you think you can handle it you can. but you might regret it for awhile. i did that once and i just kept putting more and more makeup on.
but the whole "breathing walls" sort of thing can be pretty cool

Yeah, well the friends I trust won't take any man-made drugs, so they only do shrooms. If I do take anything, it'll be that. Their shroom stories are fucking awesome. Floors of sand, expanded time...On average, they sound better.

try shrooms before you try acid though.

oh also if you ever do acid avoid situations like this:

i had pink floyd on, you know, nothing out of the ordinary. and i was just sitting there listening to it.
and then careful with that axe eugene came on, and i continued listening to it, whatever. and then came that crazy teradactyl screech in the middle. and i freaked out.

lesson: pick lovely music, not music with sudden screeches or anything too intense.

I'm sure they did that on purpose, just to fuck people over. They knew what their music was for.

But I have pretty strong apprehensions about drugs and stuff in general. Not sure why. Soft-drug users are the coolest people (seriously) but I get nervous at the thought of taking them. Even when I started drinking, it was pretty tough for me to just let go. Family history, I suppose. Half my family is in AA, and my dad's hung out with Ken Kesey in his day, etc. Might have something to do with it, but I really don't know.
