I got a brand new Dell computer today
 

& needless to say, I'm very happy. I finally can listen to music on my computer now. Right now, I'm listening to SY's mix tape vol.5. I plan on burning all the music that I've downloaded in the past tonight.

Awesome. I got a Dell a year ago and haven't had a single problem. Best computer I've ever had.

Yeah, I'm real happy w/ the quality of everything so far. The screen has an absolutely stunning display.

My moms works for a big industrial hardware supplier, & she got a deal w/ her boss, who happens to be her brother & my uncle.

Yeah, I lucked out. But, we're pretty much co-owners of the computer.

I used to work for Dell. For about 4 months.

How well do they pay? Were you in technical support or something?

No, I sold them over the phone. They have a call center in Nashville. I worked there. The pay was OK. Less than I was getting to teach driver's ed lessons. But I couldn't take working there. I am not a salesman. It's as simple as that.

Overstood. I can see how a job repetitive as that could get to ya'.
Did you ever get any deals on a new system when you worked there?

Yes, finally, a sound card.

My Dell has given me minimal problems. I've had it since '02.
