Where are they from ? Does they still exist ?

They were from Houston, which is ironic because there was a thread here the other day discussing how dull the city is. And as you may have judged by my past tense usage, they're now defunct, last album was 1998 I beleive.

there was a thread about the whole houston post-industrial doom punk noise shit a few months back...i remember because i requested some dunlavy and drone uploaded some.

the pain teens were great. Bliss Blood worked at the Houston sound exchange and I would go talk to her back in the day. the [pain teens opened up for Sonic Youth bon the Pretty Fucking Dirty Tour along with pavement, when they played in Houston.
