Halfbird I guess. Runners Four is by far the best in my opinion, though most people odn't agree. So maybe I'm not the best to ask about this. They're all pretty much the of same quality though I'd probably avoid Friend Opportunity...

friend opportunity is their worst and still some of those songs are very good.

i think the runners four is their undisputed best. theyre consistent as fuck. just check out whatever. theyre probably in my top 5 bands of the decade.

Apple O' is my personal fav, but since you've got that one I'd go for Reveille next.

Apple O is the only one i've got and i only like one song on it (the first one)

i don't see why runners four is supposed to be the very best one. It's very average.

I'm seeing Deerhoof live in the next few weeks, they're opening for Liars. I'd like to buy one of their records, which one shall I start off with?

the runners four, i just think it captures their sound best, offbeat pop melodies, interspersed with little bits of noise and dissonance. one of the best "noise pop" records ever made. its long too, but never gets boring.
