dead man soundtrack
dead man is my second favorite movie ever (behind the graduate), and every time i watch it i am absolutley mesmerised by neil young's guitar work that makes up the soundtrack. i love neil young and most of the stuff hes done, but the music he made for this movie i think is some of the most ambitious, interesting, and downright beautiful music hes ever made. its very moody music, and it actually is successful at being the backdrop of this western type movie, but still sounds very modern at the same time.
im not exactly sure why i posted this, and i dont expect anyone to agree with me, i just really really love the music from "dead man". |
Great movie. Lance Henriksen is amazing in it.
I have the soundtrack on double vinyl; love it. Ordinarily I like the idea of Neil Young more than I actually enjoy his music, but this album is a gem. Suits the movie perfectly. |
yeah, you probably later heard it because neil used this same music for the ablum "broken arrow" which was released in 96. a lot of critics slammed it, i think its his best ablum of the 90's.

i think it's some of his best work also. it's a great movie too.

i love that soundtrack, plus i love that film and i've seen it at least 20 times, it's probably in my top 6 films
