i forgot blonde redhead was on the label, so them too.

i never liked blonde redhead save a few songs. people always compare them to deerhoof, probably cuz of the two dudes and an asian thing, but deerhoof i think is an amazing bands who has put out more great records than any other this decade, and blonde redhead has put out a couple, in my opinon, bad records. i only brought up the deerhoof thing cuz a friend of mine was lookin through my cds and saw all my deerhoof shit and said id like blonde redhead.

Pretty much every band they ever released, with a few exceptions (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) are worth checking out. My favorite 10 (not in order) are (and this counts re-issues of back catalogues):

Whoever your friend is, that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. An asian female vocalist does not make grounds to call a band similar or that you'd like them. I only say this because I've always been a really big Blonde Redhead fan, no problem with you not liking them though.

I prefer The For Carnation's second album rather than the first one.

Can't beat a bit of Killdozer.

oh yes, GvsB ! "Cruise Yourself" was a dope album.
