Mudhoney on tour :)
I'm thinking of going to both the northhampton and cambridge shows. There is nothing as much fun as live Mudhoney. Except maybe Beastie Boys or Primus
|
i'm going to the gainesville one. my last show in florida until i move to new york city!
|
Geez, come to Canada!!!
|
i might go to the cambridge one if im bored enough, im not a big mudhoney fan
|
Don't know what you are missing. Mudhoney was one of the best bands to come out of Seattle, and they are still amazing today. The Stooges of my generation. Superfuzz Bigmuff, Piece of Cake, and Tomorrow hit today are some of the best albums of the 90's.
They are amazing live as well, yes amazing. People ask me the best shows I've ever been to, I usually say Primus, Flaming Lips, Sonic Youth and Mudhoney |
I think I am going to go to both Mass shows though. I've seen Mudhoney about 4 times, when I saw them in 2004 they played Poisoned Water. I NEED to hear them play that again
|
I'm going to the london show. I missed them the last time they came over here but this should make up for it.

Why do bands seem to hate Houston?
It's a big city with a really good midsize venue (warehouse) But still.. PEOPLE DON'T COME!! ANd the meridian sucks because if the bar is open its 18 and up only (shitty policy) so most shows are off limits for me there |
yea, bands seem to hate Connecticut too. We got Toad's place, that's pretty close to NYC. Jeez. Probably ever since they got rid of the coliseum

Usually to NYC, mass, New Jersey, even sometimes to Vermont which is where I saw Primus in a basketball gymnasium. Might have been the best concert I've ever been to

hahahahahahahahahahaa, what a good joke... ...ohh wait, were you being serious? |
Yeah whatever, I don't care what you think. They were influenced by the Stooges, and they definately bare resembelance.
|
ah whaddya know. Look what I found on the Mudhoney website
Superfuzz Bigmuff plus Early Singles (1988) Sub Pop Compiles their first stellar EP, plus their debut anthem "Touch me I'm sick", the original studio version of their longest live favorite, "Hate the police", and much more. Essential. Superfuzz Bigmuff has all the best attributes of Mudhoney's Stooges fixation -- whether slow or fast, this music is grimy, raucous, and violently enthusiastic, with a stronger melodic sensibility than Iggy's band possessed. |
if subpop says so, then you know it's true.
|
You are wrong. I am right. Get over it
|
hahahahahaha.
so, by your logic, puddle of mudd are influenced by nirvana, therefor, the nirvana of that generation. right fucking on, puddle of mudd must rule! |
You are wrong, about that too ha. I will always remember Mudhoney as the Stooges of my time.
|
good thing, keep fooling yourself, it's better than nothing.
a tamer, safer stooges maybe. |
