Nirvana - Something in the way

Anyone know where I can find a live mp3 of the loud version of Something in the way. The electric/non acoustic version is the one I am referring to. That'd be great

i love the unplugged DVD. they cut so much good shit out of it for TV.

Nirvana Unplugged is one of my favorite Nirvana outputs.

seriously, it really was about time for them to release that shit.

courtney bein' broke might be bad for her, but the things she gotta do to earn some money back is certainly good for everyone else.

i laugh every time he says "fuck you people, this is the last song of the evening" and when he's sitting there smoking that long-ass chick cigarette

Cantankerous 03.22.2008 02:48 AM

i do that too, but with other bands as well. i go through periods of extreme obsession with people, concepts, things, certain art or music...

With Music, there are two bands that changed the way I perceive music, and that was Nirvana, and Sonic Youth. Both of which I hardly listen to now.

yawn.

Cantankerous 03.22.2008 02:58 AM

that is a good quote
but there are SO many other bands that come before either SY or nirvana in my ranks.

m1rr0r dash 03.22.2008 02:59 AM

exactly.

i dont know if i like any other bands more then these two, but there are some that follow closely behind. alot of which i discovered a long time ago as a result of being such a nirvana fan (melvins/scratch acid/butthole surfers).

then theres the stooges who have a very special place in my heart.

hooray, stooges!

i get the same way with bands. it's been forever since i listened to damaged by black flag and that's my second favorite album. actually, if it wasn't for the youtube videos i posted a few nights ago, i wouldn't have listened to blak flag at all for a month and they're my second favorite band. same with sonic youth. there have been times when i haven't listened to them in months, but they are still my favorite band. i just get burnt out if i listen to something over and over again.

EyeballGrowth 03.22.2008 01:59 PM

The version I am looking for yes does appear on the live tonight sold out dvd. I'd like to find a decent quality mp3 of it. It doesn't have to be the exact one from that particular concert, just the same version played in the same way. I really prefer it to the Nevermind acoustic version

just get the "outsecticide" albums, it's on one of those. and an acocustic version of negative creep that's hilarious.

EyeballGrowth 03.24.2008 12:19 AM

Damn, I should have said MP3. Thanks though. sounds good, goes great with my meat puppets pure cane sugar/scum live
