everyneurotic, i was just lookin at your oscilator zine and the eyehategod tribute is fucking awesome. ive loved ever since i heard the opening riff to their song 'methamphetamine', and take as needed for pain and dopesick are two of my favorite records of all time. eyehategod is new orleans metal at its best, nausea meets sabbath meets slayer meets saint vitus, all drenched in some home cooked new orleans narcoticised blues. and has anyone seen them live? if you didnt get the chills when i said that then you havnt. ive seen slayer three times, and as great as slayer live is, they wernt half as brutal as an eyehategod show.

all i have to say is.... AMAZING BAND!

I saw Eyehategod open up for White Zombie on a tour back in 1992-93
The eyehategod guys were penpals with my friend mike who was in several hardcore bands in Houston. the eyehategod guys were supposed to crash with us but they instead drove straight back to Louisiana.

they are tight with the chicago noise scene, i think mark from bloodyminded and other people have a band with guys from ehg.

'Crimes Against Skin' has to be one of the greatest pieces of guitar-driven nihilism I've ever heard. Eyehategod bring a whole new meaning to the word 'heavy'. Love 'em!

they are seriously one of the only "sludge" bands i can put against brutal dm or bm bands and be as heavy (or heavier) than them, and their shit is full of...the only word that comes to mind is "passion", passion for hatred.

bring them back!
