How does the "Top Artists" ranking on MySpace work?
 

Because yesterday I was #2 in Australia for IDM and now I'm 11th. Does it go by daily plays or something?

myspace doesnt suck. :) at least it doesn't for bands!

I just put it there because I was expecting replies like "Waah, that's what you get for having MySpace. I'm not big on it, but for bands its fine.

myspace does suck... except for bands. That's really the only thing I enjoy about it.

As for top artists, I'd imagine it goes by daily plays for individual songs.

i guess you have to state a listing genre cuz i'm not even listed locally. or maybe i'm not in the system yet.

I usually hover around #10 for IDM in Australia. There aren't many of us anyway.
