Now it finally went to shit. God am I pissed. It won't let me put music into my ipod. Fucking shit. I need a new one. Blah.

are the songs you are trying to add in .aac format?

is the ipod full?

is the ipod plugged in? :p


as val mentioned, if the ipod isn't completely hardlocked, won't reset and gives you the "OMG I BROKE" screen, it's most likely an easy fix.

And ??, don't jump to the conclusion that you need a new one. Reset it, take it to the Apple store. My friend's was screwed up and we went down to the Apple Store and they plugged it into a mac and it was fixed.

I think I just need a new cable. It doesn't connect well, it says it it didn't connect.

try restoring it.
mine sometimes won't let me sync it but then i restore it and it works.
