PRONG, anyone?
I ended up renewing their official website and I thoguth to ask out loud, any fans?
RUDE AWAKENING kicks my ass. Oh, www.prongmusic.com - if you wanna tell me what you think about it. Ciao! |
yeah, tommy victor is awesome, not to mention drummer extraordinaire ted parsons used to play in the band.
my favorites are cleansing and primitive origins, yeah, that's right, i like their first album, for all it's genericness, it's a pretty swell thrash/crossover record. |
forced feed, beg to differ, primative origins in that order
|
Didn't you see Prong in St. Paul, Max?
|
I bought Primitive Origins back in the day, just because of the Swans connection. It was my one concession to Heavy Metal at the time. I thought I was being all exotic and 'ironic' but actually came to like it a lot. Didn't get anything else though. Although my fairly contrived hatred of Metal disappeared soon after.

cool, demonrail. I have had a lot of listens to a few selected metal bands. many metal bands were fucked up but there's a few I really like. yeah chout! i saw them live in St. Paul october 2005. i've even filmed the gig for an "official" bootleg dvd that came out later in 2006.
their new one seems to be a return to the force fed - cleansing period. wanna hear it, i'm really curious. |
nope, dont like prong!
|
just beg to differ

Hell yeah I was listening to that shit in 91 long time ever since. |
back in 1991/1992 I was studying, my housemate who was living next to me was a huge metal head, and especially loved Prong. He did art school and used to work late at night, so I got used to falling asleep by the sound of double bass drums etc. due to the tiny walls. Took me a while but I did like them quite a lot, both the Prove You Wrong and Beg to Differ albums. Got to see them play once or twice too.
Site looks great :) |
