P.S. I've written record and not album because Nocturne and Through the looking glass can't be neglected in my opinion.

No idea but if you want to know more about Siouxsie and the banshees talk to the stage manager at Brixton Academy, he was on her crew or Dave who does the live music dvds at the top of canal st market in Camden. He was on her crew too

John McGeoch is dead? Wow, didn't know that. He had a good style. I remember Robert Smith saying he had to work hard to get his parts down for the tour he was on with Sioux.

My fave is probably Tinderbox. Some great guitar on that one too, also by John.

Sioxsie Sioux has her debut solo album, Mantaray, released September 10th.

Same album for me.

Nocturne is the live one, isn't it? If it is, then that's my favourite.

John McGeoch doesn't play on Tinderbox actually.

"The Scream" pour moi, followed by "Join Hands".

Kaleidoscope

Juju is probably their most cohesive effort, but I find them to be a singles band.

Ju Ju, although The Scream is also excellent.

juju since it's the only one i've listened to after avoiding them like the plague for so many years.

great album, though.

i was gonna make a post about "seminal bands who u cant helt but despise" but i didnt feel like it, and siouxie was gonna be right behind the cure on my list, ive tried to like them and listened to a few of their alblums, but fuck do they bore me.

I usually just go straight for the first singles collection.
