How do I rip a DVD onto my computer?

Any free programs because I'm a dirt-ass pirater?

if you want something that encodes the main bulk of the disc to avi (700mb ave) or mpeg(1.5gb ave) instead of a 4gb full dvd rip try this

nero is probably the standard, either for dvd burning or cd burning, you can probably get a cracked version of that off torrentspy.com or mininova.org, not that i condone that sort of thing
