Yeah it is a good movie, I liked it a lot. I've yet to read the book.

The book is alot better. Astrid talks about her drug use alot more and you learn about a bunch of other foster homes she was in they didn't show in the movie.

the movie was meh-- predictable after a while. it was better than i expected though, as i was expecting a boring chick flick. but it has its merits, no doubt.

you should check out "running with scissors". you might like it.
