He asked each board member to send him their list of their 5 GREATEST RECORDS EVER! Of course this list is severely skewed by the weird tastes of most Sonic Youth fanatics.

There's way too much Radiohead, for sure.

EDIT: I dunno, man - there's six SY titles out of 20. A bit more and we'd be talking almost 50%, while there's, for instance, zero Neil Young. And wasn't Metal Machine Music named the best album of the '70s on this very board?

Also, that list is white and male as fuck. OK, there's Kim, Nico and Maureen, and Bilinda and Debbie, but would they be listed if they weren't surrounded by dudes?

Aye, because the people of SYG don't pick their favourite music based on the enjoyment of the music, instead basing their preference on what sex the band members are and whether they are the correct (face the facts) race. I always knew SYG was racist and sexist (but only to a point, as long as the female to male ratio is in favour of the superior (face the facts)) male).

I'm not sure adding Neil Young to diversify the playing field would help, If I'm honest.
