Because then they have the added value of not only being "'highly collectible' and 'rarely seen' for sale", but having been spinned on Thurston freakin' Moore's very own turntable! Not that I wouldn't buy them. I certainly would, in fact. But people tell me I need to get exotic things like "food" first. Pffft, what do they know about partying? Or anything else!
