I love Movement and Power, Corruption & Lies. After that there are some great tunes ("The Perfect Kiss", etc.), but I can't say I'm as taken by the albums as a whole.

OK, time to knock it off with the Radieux already, nobody's buying it. Anyway, I see that all three 7-inchers are now available for pre-order (at least from Norman Records) and that Spirit Counsel's release date has been pushed to October 4 on Forced Exposure's site.

Incidentally, I love The Quietus, but seriously, how many times are they gonna use the same Thurston pic, maaaan!

Funny thing is, back in 1983, when both Confusion Is Sex and Power, Corruption & Lies were released (only three months apart - in fact, "Blue Monday" came out just one month after CIS), any fan of scuzzy no-wavey fringe music would have spat on your face for liking that synthy clubby Curtis-betraying shit.

Thankfully, art has a way of coming around eventually. :cool:
