Sonic Youth was a clue on Jeopardy tonight
 

It made me happy.

That's so cool, I remember in an Jeopardy episode one time, one of the contestants mentioned collaborating with The Magnetic Fields and I was giddy.

Yeah I just wasn't expecting Kim and Thurston to be named on Jeopardy. It was neat.

That must've been weird. I just finished reading Girl in a Band, it's weird reading about Northampton when Kim and Thurston were living here. I was just beginning to get into listening to music as a young teenager and into the band when I bumped into Thurston walking in downtown Amherst where I grew up. Life is weird yo.

A friend of mine in college lived their this was like 2003ish and was always seeing them or Mascis around and that sounded so surreal to me.

that's cool, yeah I bumped into him regularly at smaller shows Thurston and Bill Nace put on semi often
