The song was a product of listening to Young Prayer from Panda Bear repeatedly.

That's probably why I have never recorded anything I've ever come up with. I just write things down in a very vague manner and hope that I remember how to play them later, which I don't.

Yeah, I can't do that at all. I usually just record something, and then try to remember how I played it.
