I think the misfits are the greatest band ever. Not my favorite band ever, but the greatest, simply because I've met VERY VERY VERY few people who dislike them, and those people usually aren't very cool... and they unite pretty much every type of music lover... punk, metal, noise kids, etc... everyone likes the misfits.

There was an interview with the Misfits w/o Danzig where the interviewer was asking about that song and the Misfits said "It's about this science fiction movie where every animal has a number and humans are 138."

Then, the same interviewer asked Danzig and told him what the Misfits said and he said "I don't know what they're talking about. I wrote that song. That song is about violence."
