Gift from Patti (Jazzmaster Guitar)
 

Something is sorta amiss but maybe there was more than one jazzmaster guitar given to Sonic Youth by Patti Smith after the big heist in 1999.

My understanding is that the infamous "gold" jazzmaster (now used by James Sedwards in The Thurston Moore Band) was the guitar that was "the gift" from Patt Smith. But Thurston says his current primary sunburst jazzmaster was a gift from Patti after the theft... Could it be both jazzmasters?
