Certainly I find her music quite boring. That's the extent of my Amy Winehouse knowledge.

she's a singer. her stuff sounds like old girl group stuff from the 60's, i think. the content is different and a bit on the mundane side, but it's still hard to deny how infectious her songs are.

I like some of her songs. The albums are very well written, by the way, and her voice is much more peculiar than, say, Joss Stone's (keeping it to the "white girls pretending to be black singers, you just have to close your eyes and believe it" kind of thing) . All in all I think she's much more interesting than the vast majority of "pop" music you can occasionally listen to on radio-tv etc. And she has a strange face. But listening to a whole record is tiring.
