Kim Gordon on BBC 6 Music this weekend!
 

Mary Anne has the chance for a rare interview with Kim Gordon. Guitar hero Gordon talks about her turbulent, triumphant 30 year career with Sonic Youth and her forthcoming memoir.

Kim's revealing, upsetting book Girl In A Band is published in February. With searing honesty she tells the story of her family, her work in the visual arts, her move to New York City, the men in her life, her marriage, and her music.

This interview launches Kim's book tour, and is a must listen for any Sonic Youth fan, or anyone with a passion for independent music in general.
